what do youlike about steak n shake and why ?

yummy frisco melts....cheeeeese fries....vanilla shakes...and them being open 24/7...how can ya not likes 'em :)

and...they also cater to drunks well :D

We have had them here, in Texas, a short while. I like the fact they are open 24 hours. The sad part is, their food is a little bland. This is Texas. If you are going to serve chili in Texas, please make it at least mildly hot or mildly spicy. I say this because with our huge Asian, Hispanic, and South Asian presence many of us have come to expect food with a lot more flavor. As far as the other diner fare, it's not so bad. It's what you expect out of diner food. Oh yeah, if they had some decent hot sauce at the table, this would be nice too.

We don't have one here in Alaska, but I know of it because about 6 years ago I had webtv and had a friend on there that worked at one. I forget which state but I loved hearing his stories about his job there. It would be so cool if you were him, His name is David. He lived with his Mom and 2 cats. I really miss him. My web broke and I never got back online until 3 months ago. Thank-you for the memory!!

I only like their milkshakes; their "steakburgers' are a rip off, paper thin and no flavor. When I want a quality burger, I go to Culver's.

Steak N Shake is an awesome place to eat! I love their chili, steak burgers, and milkshakes! They use real steak with their burgers and chili...I just wish we had one in Fayetteville NC!!!
